Sales Representative position needed
Requirements of Sales Representative position:
• 2-5 years of premium retail experience, preferably premium boat and yacht sales
• Prior operations or management experience a big plus
• Excellent selling and interpersonal skills.
• Great communicator: spoken and written skills.
• Passion for sales and the boating lifestyle. Able to learn the technical aspects of boating and the boating lifestyle.
• Bilingual not required but strongly preferred
Summary:
The successful Sales Representative will demonstrate the advantages and benefits of Davey Marine Center and strategically position the company in the marketplace in order to sell new and used premium pleasure boats. The successful Sales Representative must recognize that business is built on client satisfaction and devote him/herself to exceeding the clients' expectations and delivering the boating dream.
Position Relationships:
Responsibilities of the Sales Representative includes enthusiastically embracing the Davey Marine Center concept;
Establish and maintain good long-term relationships with customers before and after the sale to develop long-term relationships with customers;
Acquire full knowledge of complete product line, features and accessories available for purchase;
Show product in the showroom, at off-site displays or shows, and demonstrate boats on the water;
Follow the Davey Marine Center sales process to improve selling skills, including prospecting for new customers and follow-up on customers previously contacted;
Will work closely with the Sales Manager. Opportunity for advancement for the right individual.
