NOW HIRING PARTS ASSOCIATE

POSITION TITLE: Parts Associate                         

The purpose of the Parts Associate position is to assist with the day-to-day operation of our parts and accessory retail business, including maintenance of computer inventory system and the day-to-day parts inventory control and disbursement.  

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as liaison for retail customers and in-house technicians
  • Reconcile daily receipts/sales and cash-register(s) balance
  • Timely updates to and maintenance of physical inventory stock and through IDS
  • Create/update and timely process purchase orders
  • Orders parts as needed daily
  • Receive shipping orders, charge out accordingly and contact necessary people following procedures in a reasonable amount of time
  • Follows back-orders closely to ensure prompt delivery upon receipt. Notifies customer/service upon receipt of back-ordered items. Works directly with manufacturers’ order analyst to expedite back-ordered parts. Notifies supervisor of any problems with delays in deliveries
  • Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, commercial and wholesale accounts, and over the counter sales
  • Assists in establishing pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty 
  • Records lost sales accurately to determine if inventory needs to be added.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional appearance
  • Must be a salesperson at heart
  • Ability to communicate at a high level, both verbally and in writing
  • Organizational and computer skills are required for the position
  • Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven
  • Have a valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background/drug screen

Sales Associate Needed

POSITION TITLE: Sales Consultant                                   

As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for consistently meeting or surpassing sales objectives while helping our customers make an informed purchase decision to meet their needs. 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to company’s formal sales process map and guidelines
  • Greet customers that enter showroom or outside sales lot
  • Assist customer in locating product, and help qualify customer based on needs, wants and budget
  • Show customer products that properly match customer criteria
  • Explain features and benefits of product, answer customer questions
  • Explain reason to buy from sales consultant and dealership
  • Offer pricing and breakdown of available options for product
  • Offer finance options, and credit application (or refer to business/F&I manager)
  • Gather and maintain customer contact information during sales to:
  • Communicate finance offer with customer
  • Perform closing paperwork with customer on delivery day
  • Follow up with customer after product use
  • Maintain database of prospects
  • Identify and pursue potential customers
  • Attend sales training as required by supervisor
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional appearance
  • Prior marine experience/boating enthusiasts preferred
  • Ability to make decisions to satisfy customer without authority.
  • Strong understanding of product sold in dealership and sales department process.
  • Strong communication and closing skills
  • Result oriented, goal minded
  • Willingness to works nights and weekends
  • Have a valid state driver’s license
